Upon arrival at Kilimanajaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK), you will be greeted by your safari guide, who will assist with your transfer to Arusha Planet Lodge. This charming lodge is situated in a tranquil setting, perfect for a relaxing first night in Tanzania. You’ll have time to settle in and unwind from your travels. Depending on your arrival time, you may have the opportunity to take a short walk around the lodge or relax in its lush gardens before enjoying a welcome dinner. The evening will be spent at leisure, preparing for the upcoming adventure.

After an early breakfast at Arusha Planet Lodge, you will be picked up by your guide and embark on a scenic drive to Lake Manyara National Park. Depending on the season, you may witness the spectacular Great Migration, where millions of wildebeest and zebras move across the plains in search of fresh grazing. After an exciting day, you will head to Land of Nature Serengeti Lodge for your overnight stay. After breakfast at Land of Nature Serengeti Lodge, you will drive to the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the most famous wildlife conservation areas in the world. En route, you’ll pass through the stunning Ngorongoro Highlands, which offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. Upon reaching the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a collapsed volcano that is now a rich ecosystem home to an abundance of wildlife.
Here, you’ll spend the day exploring the crater floor, where you can expect to see large herds of buffalo, wildebeest, and zebra, as well as predators such as lions, leopards, and hyenas. The crater is also one of the best places to spot the endangered black rhino. After your game drive, you will head back to Marera Valley Lodge for your overnight stay. Enjoy a well-deserved dinner and reflect on your incredible wildlife experiences.
