Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or pick-up from your hotel in Arusha, you will meet your safari guide for a full briefing about the journey ahead. Arusha is the safari capital of northern Tanzania, surrounded by lush landscapes and views of Mount Meru.
Depending on arrival time, you may relax at the hotel or enjoy a short city orientation before the safari begins the next day.
Distance: Airport → Arusha: ~50–55 km (1–1.5 hours)

After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most beautiful parks, known for massive elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. Enjoy a full-day game drive along the Tarangire River, which attracts dense wildlife during the dry season.
Expect lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and abundant birdlife.
In the evening, transfer to the campsite for dinner and overnight under the African sky.
Distance: Arusha → Tarangire: ~120 km (2.5–3 hours)

After breakfast, depart for the world-famous Serengeti National Park. The drive takes you through the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands with possible wildlife sightings along the way.
Enter Serengeti via Naabi Hill Gate and begin your en-route game drive across the endless plains filled with wildebeest, zebras, lions, and elephants.
Arrive at your campsite in Central Serengeti in the evening.
Distance: Tarangire → Central Serengeti: ~280–300 km (6–7 hours)

Early morning game drive in Central Serengeti before heading north toward Kogatende in the Serengeti ecosystem.
This region is famous for the Great Migration river crossings at the Mara River (seasonal), where thousands of wildebeest and zebras face crocodile-filled waters.
Arrive in Kogatende for sunset and camp setup.
Distance: Central Serengeti → Kogatende: ~140–170 km (4–5 hours depending on game drive)
Accommodation: Budget camping (Kogatende / North Serengeti campsite)
Start the day with an early morning game drive along the Mara River area, a hotspot for predators and migration activity.
Later, begin the long scenic drive back through Serengeti toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area while enjoying wildlife sightings along the route.
Arrive at Simba Campsite on the crater rim in the evening.
Distance: Kogatende → Ngorongoro (Simba Camp): ~250–300 km (7–8 hours with game viewing)
Accommodation: Simba Campsite (crater rim public campsite)
Early breakfast, then descend into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for a half-day game drive inside the Ngorongoro Crater. This is one of the best places in Africa to spot the Big Five in a single ecosystem.
Enjoy wildlife viewing including lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, flamingos, and the rare black rhino.
After lunch, ascend the crater and drive back to Arusha for drop-off at your hotel or airport.
