Tour Plan

Your adventure begins with a morning pick-up from Kilimanjaro International Airport or your hotel in Arusha. After a short briefing, you will drive through the Maasai plains toward Tarangire National Park, known for its iconic baobab landscapes and one of the highest concentrations of elephants in northern Tanzania.

Upon arrival, you will enjoy a full-day game drive exploring the Tarangire River area, which attracts large herds of zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, giraffes, and predators such as lions and leopards. Bird lovers will also enjoy spotting over 400 bird species.

In the late afternoon, exit the park and transfer to your campsite for dinner and overnight under the African sky.

Distance: ~120 km (2.5–3 hours drive)
Accommodation: Budget camping

After an early breakfast, depart for the legendary Serengeti National Park, passing through the beautiful Ngorongoro Conservation Area highlands. The drive itself is a scenic safari experience with possible wildlife sightings along the way.

You will enter the Serengeti plains through Naabi Hill Gate, where your first game drive begins immediately. Expect encounters with lions, elephants, hyenas, giraffes, and vast herds of wildebeest and zebras depending on the season.

Arrive at your campsite in the evening, settle in, and enjoy dinner around the campfire.

Distance: ~250–300 km (6–7 hours including stops and game viewing)
Accommodation: Budget camping inside Serengeti (public or designated campsite)

Spend a full day exploring the heart of the Serengeti ecosystem. Early morning and afternoon game drives maximize your chances of witnessing predators in action, especially lions, leopards, and cheetahs.

Depending on the season, you may also witness the Great Migration, one of the most spectacular wildlife events in the world. The endless plains offer unforgettable photography opportunities and dramatic wildlife interactions.

Return to your campsite in the evening for dinner and relaxation under the stars.

Distance: Full-day game drives within Serengeti (no long transfers)
Accommodation: Budget camping inside Serengeti (same or different campsite depending on route plan)

After breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive in Serengeti as you gradually exit the park. Continue your journey toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, passing through scenic landscapes and wildlife-rich plains.

Arrive in the Ngorongoro highlands in the evening, where the climate is cooler and the scenery is breathtaking. You will prepare for the next day’s crater safari.

Distance: ~140–160 km (3.5–5 hours including game drive exit)
Accommodation: Budget camping at Ngorongoro public campsite (crater rim or nearby area)

Early morning descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, often called the “Eighth Wonder of the World.” The crater floor is home to an incredible density of wildlife, including elephants, lions, buffaloes, hippos, and the rare black rhino.

After a rewarding half-day game drive and picnic lunch inside the crater, continue to Lake Manyara National Park. This park is famous for its lush groundwater forest, flamingos, and tree-climbing lions.

Enjoy an afternoon game drive before heading to your campsite for dinner and overnight.

Distance: ~70 km (2–3 hours total driving)
Accommodation: Venice Hotel Arusha

After an early breakfast, drive to Mount Kilimanjaro National Park for a guided day hike on one of the lower scenic trails such as Marangu or Machame.

You will hike through dense rainforest zones filled with monkeys, exotic birds, and giant trees while enjoying views of Africa’s highest peak. This experience offers a taste of Kilimanjaro without summit climbing.

After the hike, descend and drive back to Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure.

Distance: ~180 km (3.5–4 hours drive each way depending on gate and route)
Accommodation: Not included (departure day)
