Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly greeted by our representative, who will assist you with your luggage and provide a comfortable transfer to Arusha. As you drive through the vibrant landscapes and local communities, you’ll get a taste of the welcoming culture of Tanzania. After approximately 50 km (about 1 hour), you will arrive at the luxurious Grand Melia Hotel, where you can unwind in your elegantly appointed room. In the evening, enjoy a delicious dinner at the hotel’s restaurant, taking in the serene surroundings as you prepare for the exciting days ahead.

Distance: Approximately 50 km (about 1 hour) from the airport to the hotel.
After a hearty breakfast at the Grand Melia, you will depart for Tarangire National Park, renowned for its stunning baobab trees and abundant wildlife, especially large herds of elephants. The drive takes around 2 hours and covers approximately 120 km. Upon arrival, you’ll embark on a thrilling game drive, where you can expect to see a variety of wildlife including lions, giraffes, and diverse bird species. After an exhilarating day of exploration, you will head to the Retreat at Ngorongoro, where you will enjoy an all-inclusive dinner and unwind in the tranquil atmosphere of your lodge.

Distance: Approximately 120 km (about 2 hours) from Arusha to Tarangire.
Following breakfast at the Retreat at Ngorongoro, you will set off for Lake Manyara National Park, known for its stunning views and rich wildlife. The drive to the park takes about 1.5 hours, covering approximately 60 km. Once at the park, you’ll enjoy a game drive that showcases its unique ecosystems, including its famous soda lake and lush forests. Keep an eye out for tree-climbing lions, elephants, and an array of vibrant bird species, including flamingos. After a day filled with adventure, you will return to the Retreat at Ngorongoro for another relaxing evening with all meals included.

Distance: Approximately 60 km (about 1.5 hours) from Tarangire to Lake Manyara.
After an early breakfast, you will journey to the iconic Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its rich wildlife and stunning landscapes. The drive takes about 30 minutes, covering approximately 30 km. Once you descend into the crater, you’ll spend the day exploring this unique ecosystem, where you can encounter the Big Five and other wildlife in their natural habitat. The spectacular views and diverse wildlife make this a highlight of your safari. After a rewarding day, you will return to the Retreat at Ngorongoro for your final night, enjoying an all-inclusive dinner and reminiscing about the unforgettable experiences.

Distance: Approximately 30 km (about 30 minutes) from the lodge to Ngorongoro Crater.
On your final day, enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the Retreat, reflecting on the incredible memories you’ve made during your safari. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have some free time to relax or take in the beautiful views before your departure. When it’s time, you will be transferred back to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight home, covering approximately 130 km (about 2 hours).
