The adventure continues with wildlife-filled game drives in the Southern Serengeti, a stay in a cozy Tanzania bush camp and Ngorongoro Kuhama, and a visit to the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater on Day 4.

After arriving at Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be transferred to the Ndutu region, situated in the southern part of the Serengeti National Park, famous for its wildlife and the calving migration that takes place here each year. The drive to Ndutu is approximately 4-5 hours through scenic Tanzanian landscapes, where you’ll pass through rural villages and vast stretches of grasslands. Upon arrival, check in at your Tanzania bush camp—a perfect base for exploring the Southern Serengeti. After settling in, enjoy a short evening game drive to get a taste of the incredible wildlife in the area. The evening ends with dinner under the stars in your bush camp, followed by a relaxing overnight stay.

n Day 2, wake up early and head out for a full-day game drive in the Ndutu plains. This is the heart of the Great Migration, and the calving season is in full swing. Here, you’ll witness thousands of wildebeest giving birth, often in large groups, while their predators, including lions, cheetahs, and hyenas, are nearby, waiting for their opportunity to hunt. The game drive takes you across vast plains, where herds of zebras, topis, gazelles, and other grazers share the same space as the wildebeest. These incredible predator-prey interactions will make for unforgettable safari moments. Picnic lunch is served out in the bush during your game drive. After an exciting day of wildlife sightings, return to your bush camp for dinner and overnight rest.

Day 3 begins with an early morning game drive in the Ndutu region. In addition to the calving wildebeest, you’ll have the chance to see more of the area’s diverse wildlife. The early hours are perfect for spotting predators in action—this is when lions, cheetahs, and leopards are often at their most active. Depending on the time of year, you may also spot newborn wildebeest calves still struggling to stand up, making them an easy target for predators. After a thrilling morning drive, return to your camp for lunch. In the afternoon, you’ll continue your game drive, further exploring the Serengeti plains and witnessing more of the ongoing migration and the associated predator dynamics. In the evening, return to your camp to unwind with a delicious dinner and enjoy the serenity of the bush.

On Day 4, after an early breakfast, you will leave Ndutu for a visit to the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the most stunning wildlife destinations in the world. The Ngorongoro Crater is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, home to diverse wildlife such as elephants, rhinos, buffalo, lions, and hippopotamuses. You will descend into the crater for a half-day game drive, exploring the lush floor of the caldera and witnessing the crater's incredible wildlife. The early morning game drive gives you a chance to spot the predators and herbivores while the day is still cool. After your time in the crater, you will begin your transfer back to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport for your flight or onward journey. Depending on your departure time, you will either have lunch on the go or in Arusha.
